Direct Support Staff

Direct support staff provides “functional skills training for adult consumers who generally have acquired basic self-help skills and who, because of their physical and/or mental disabilities, do not possess basic self-help skills, but who employ and supervise aides to assist them in meeting their personal needs. “Title 17, Section 54302 (a) (26).


Qualifications:

  • Experience working with the disabled population
  • Self-Starter

  • Good reading, writing and communication skills
